Medical aid patients are typically charged at the point of service and claims are submitted to your medical aid. The portion paid by your medical aid is refunded to you or offset against future visits. Self-pay patients settle payment on the day of the consultation.

We accept card payments (Visa & Mastercard), EFT, and cash. Please confirm your preferred payment method when booking if you have specific requirements.

Coverage depends on your specific plan, benefits, and whether you have a designated psychiatry or mental health benefit. Pretoria Health bills at medical aid rates. We recommend confirming your benefit limits with your scheme before your appointment — our admin team can assist with this.

We ask that you give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur an administrative fee. We understand that circumstances arise — please contact us as early as possible if you cannot make your appointment.

Yes. Medical certificates are issued where clinically appropriate. Detailed reports for employers, insurers, or other healthcare providers can be prepared at an additional administrative fee. Please discuss your specific requirements at the time of your consultation.
